E-FOIL in Diani Beach

We are the only watersports school in Diani Beach, Galu, that has an E-Foil available to rent or get lessons on!

An eFoil is a surfboard with an electrical powered propeller just above the wing of the hydrofoil. This moves the board through any water. Wind or waves are not necessary. The eFoil is powered by a silent electric motor and has a rechargeable battery. You control it by a handheld wireless remote that is connected to the eFoil board via Bluetooth. This makes the eFoil world’s smallest personal motorized watercraft.

The electric hydrofoil does most of the work for you - there is no kicking or paddling needed, you just need to find the perfect balance, glide and enjoy the ride!

Because there is no combustion and hardly any noise, the eFoil is environmentally friendly. This doesn’t only makes the marine life very happy, also your fellow beach bums won’t be disturbed from their sunbathing session by roaring engines.

Seeing as the eFoil does not rely on weather conditions, its something you can do ALL YEAR round. Windless days - no problem! 

Its a relatively easy sport to get use to. The feeling of balancing on the eFoil and making turns is similar as with surfing or skateboarding. However, now you have full control over the speed of the board. Most beginners will be standing on the board within half an hour. Once you get this under control you can start raising out the water on the foil and feel yourself fly above the water!

Lessons & RENTALS

We have private or semi-private lessons available for different levels, from total beginners or intermediate. Our individual 1 : 1 or semi-private coaching lessons include the necessary safety and equipment. The beginner-friendly water and wind conditions on Galu Beach combined with professional tuition, will ensure safe and fun learning and have you gliding in no time.

If you’re an experienced foiler, you’re welcome to rent our eFoil out at an hourly rate as per our price list.

Equipment rentals

If you’re an experienced rider, we require a level, where you are able to safely launch and glide across the water while turning and avoiding any other “traffic” in the water, by knowing and respecting the right of way rules.

All rentals come with beach assistance through our competent beach crew.
